Fall Fashion Gala

We are delighted to invite you to New York City Ballet’s 2026 Fall Fashion Gala, an unforgettable evening celebrating the inspiring intersection of ballet and fashion. Taking place on Thursday, October 1, this beloved highlight of the Company’s fall performances will continue the tradition of pairing visionary voices from the worlds of choreography and couture to present new works on our stage. Together, these creative partnerships reflect the innovation, artistry, and excellence that define this annual tradition.

This year’s program will feature three world premieres. Making her New York City Ballet debut, Jennifer Archibald will present a new work in collaboration with designer Robert Wun. Alysa Pires will return for her second commission for the Company, following her 2023 ballet Standard Deviation, with designs by Viktor&Rolf. In addition, Resident Choreographer Justin Peck will create a new pas de deux featuring original costume designs by Simone Rocha. Uniting ballet and fashion, the evening’s premieres promise a vibrant and memorable celebration of contemporary artistry.

The 2026 Fall Fashion Gala is generously sponsored by Wells Fargo for the sixth consecutive year. The Red Carpet is sponsored by Mikimoto.

The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:30 with champagne courtesy of Maison Ruinart, followed by the performance at 7 PM, and will conclude with an elegant night of dinner and dancing on the Promenade of the David H. Koch Theater.
