Fall Gala

Thursday, September 28, 2017

We are pleased to invite you to join us at the highly anticipated 2017 Fall Gala: Uniting the Worlds of Ballet and Fashion, as we once again pair together renowned choreographers and designers on our stage. This year's gala Chairmen are Claire and Christopher Mann, Karen and Tommy Murphy, Betsy and Rob Pitts, and Sarah Jessica Parker. The onstage program will feature four World Premiere ballets, including:

  • World Premiere ballet by Principal Dancer Lauren Lovette in partnership with Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim of MONSE and Oscar de la Renta
  • World Premiere ballet by Resident Choreographer Justin Peck with costumes by Tsumori Chisato
  • World Premiere ballet by recent School of American Ballet alumna and former New York Choreographic Institute participant Gianna Reisen in collaboration with Virgil Abloh of Off-White
  • World Premiere ballet by Soloist Troy Schumacher paired with Jonathan Saunders

The evening will begin with an elegant cocktail reception hosted by Ruinart at 5:30 PM, followed by a 7 PM performance, and will conclude with a black-tie Supper Ball on the Promenade of the David H. Koch Theater, where guests dance with NYCB company members, fashion designers, and industry notables late into the night. Purchase by Friday, September 15 and your generosity will be recognized as a Benefit Committee member in the evening program.*
